The tutorials are providing me with a lot of good information and practice with SQL. I had zero prior experience with SQL so beginning with the basics is helping me learn more quickly and getting hands on experience. I am looking forward to trying new and more complex queries in class. The w3 is really helping me better understand how SQL works and how to manipulate tables and data. It is extremely helpful since I did not have any computer science experience before this.
The questions we go through in class are helping me better understand the vocabulary involved with databases. I have heard some of these words before but I never actually knew what they meant or how they were connected. Especially when we talked about how the operating system and database management system were connected. Also knowing how tables come from relations and what is all in tables was very valuable knowledge.
