The online tutorials have been somewhat helpful to me and my understanding with SQL. w3 does a great job at teaching the basics of how to do some queries in SQL. However, I have been finding it difficult to take what I am learning online and applying it to the exercises we did in class. Anyway, the online tutorials are pretty straightforward but they do not show exactly what the output is in the beginning exercises which I believe would be very helpful in my understanding of these queries. I have made it to the Functions tab of the tutorials and I would have to say everything prior to this tab has been pretty simple and self-explanatory. I would say I am gaining an understanding of how to write SQL but I have a long ways to go until I fully comprehend most everything it has to offer.
