Lab 1 of week 2--mySQL tutorial

We will be spending a little time with MySQL this week. For the first lab I would like you to go through the tutorial available on

http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/tutorial.html

Do 4.1 - 4.4 and 4.6 (we will discuss 4.7--php next week).

Log into ubuntu using your Cornell username and password.

Run mysql with user root and pword claudeshannon.

BTW, If you haven't already installed mySQL onto your own computer (or have a friend that has it installed), you might want to do so in the next day or two.
