Absence policy

Let me reiterate a class policy I covered when we went over the syllabus on the first day of our course.

Class attendance is not required. However, if you miss an announced quiz, test, or class assignment, you will only be allowed to make up the work if

1. You have notified me in advance of the absence (email is fine).

2. It is an excused absence.
