Thursday Week 2 Lab

Lab 8 (Thursday p.m.):

This will be a pairs programming lab. One computer per team of 2.

a. Do Exercise 21 in Ch. 9. However: convert all messages to upper case alphabet, no blanks allowed, and let the shift be a parameter (rather than always 13).

b. Post a message encrypted with a Caesar cipher to the discussion forum and challenge your classmates to break your code.

c. As time allows, complete Exercise 18 and 19, a slightly different encryption algorithm, excellent for honing your string skills.
