- Identify the part or parts that you have chosen by time. That is, if I wish to view the segment that you viewed, should I fast forward to 27:30 (27 minutes, 30 seconds) or to some other point in the presentation?
- Provide a short profile of the speaker (or speakers).
- Summarize your chosen theme or your chosen part of the conversation by
- listing the claims that the speakers made
- figures or other evidence that they presented
- defining terms that they used
- Did the speakers offer any guidance?
- Did they make any predictions?
- Did you hear any controversy or differences of opinion?
- You may choose to quote a speaker verbatim in cases where a speaker has succeeded in expressing an important idea in an especially concise, witty, or otherwise memorable way.
- Identify your resources with a title, an author or the organization on whose Web site you find an article, and a URL. Can you offer directions to someone who wants to learn more about the subject?
Your lesson should fill one page. Write in the form of an outline. You are creating a page to guide our discussion. You are taking the role of teacher. We will show your work on the projection screen. Make something that your classmates will be able to read from the back of the room.
