Introduction to Film Editing: Beginning course in digital film editing utilizing the Adobe Premiere Pro platform. Students will develop basic editing skills to include color correction, audio clean-up, syncing dialogue with video, multi-camera editing, and keying while exploring the role of the editor in the creative filmmaking process, and how editing helps to tell a story. Students will complete several short film projects (< 10 min) throughout the course. NOTE: A camera to record footage will be required; a cell phone camera is sufficient. 100% asynchronous.
