Enrollment options

Welcome to KIN 255! My name is Dr. Kanyiba (students call me "Doc") and I will be your professor for this course.  To get us started, below are important materials that you will need as you prepare to begin this course.  Click on respective links to access the documents.  You will be expected to refer to these documents often during the course, so feel free to download, save, and print a copy if you prefer.

This will be a fully in-person course.  Some assignments will require you to collect data outside of classroom, conduct assessment labs on campus and/ or K-12 school setting, written exams during designated exam days (in classroom or designated location based on student's letter of accommodation), and the two projects will be completed over an extended period/ weeks.

Please email if you have any question regarding the syllabus or any other question you might have.

As a future professional, all your emails (to me, your classmates, or other professionals) should start with the preferred name of the person you are sending the email to. I f you do not know the preferred name, start with the receiver's first name.  Refrain from sending your initial email without such salutation, or starting with salutations such as "Hi" or "Hey".  Keep your emails official.

I am looking forward to us having a fun block, full of learning, and growth!

Sincerely,
Dr. Kanyiba
