In your lectures you have said that the virus dies within hours when on a surface. While I have heard people say that it can last for days. Why do you think there is a miscommunication about how long the virus survives on a surface? Do you think the media is causing unnecessary fear about the virus?
I don't know that the media is causing unnecessary fear but people are concerned. There have been many studies looking at the length of time the virus is infectious but these studies are usually not mimicking the actual environmental conditions. The studies are lab studies.
