1) The most important thing I learned during this course is that it is not the virus that causes all of the symptoms as I originally thought. I also think it is very important learning about social distancing and why it is important.
2) I recently heard that children in the New York area are now getting Kawasaki Disease as a result of being infected with COVID-19. So even though children aren't being seen as infected, they are and are asymptomatic with COVID-19 and then getting this other disease as a result. Could we possibly discuss this more?
I have also heard that the respiratory issues have been because of blood clots caused by COVID-19 rather than respiratory issues and pneumonia caused by COVID-19. Is it possible that SARS-CoV-2 is actually a virus affecting blood rather than a respiratory virus?
