In Today's class we were talking about viruses and their most common occurrence depending on the season. We all came to say that it is most likely that COVID-19 takes place around Winter time, so we believe that it will start to die down in the middle of the summer and then come back full force the next winter. After thinking it over, it would be more beneficial to find a vaccine for the virus right now (obviously) than waiting for it to die down. Is it possible that we would turn a blind eye to the virus when it no longer becomes that public threat that we are currently making it out to be? Will we be unprepared once again if the same virus occurs again next winter?

Wow, good question.  Hopefully, we will not ignore this virus and will  continue efforts to make an effective vaccine.
