After reading the articles for today, my question is this: did bats really spread COVID-19 to humans? In the M. Tuttle article it talks about how bats are said to be the ones that spread Ebola and SARS to humans, but it also said that there is very little to no evidence that supports this claim. Why are scientists and other experts continuing to say that bats started this when they know there is not much to support this claim? Why are they not testing other animals or species to try and find the real original spreader? They have plenty of evidence pointing towards camels being the spreader for SARS so why are they still saying that it was bats?
