Since there wasn't any class today, I thought up my own question about addressing CoVid-19 in hospitals. My mom works at lutheran general hospital and the causes of death that have been labeled at the hospital have been unsettling. There have been quite a few patients that have come in with no signs of the virus, and up their deaths they showed no signs at all. One of my mom's friends who works with her at the hospital unfortunately had to take her dad in for a heart attack, but when they wrote down the cause of death, they put "CoVid-19". Like I said before, there were absolutely no signs of CoVid-19, and it was clear that he didn't die from it either. I found this very unsettling just because it is making me wonder if other hospitals might potentially be putting out false info for patient results. I do hope this isn't the case, this would be a huge scandal. Considering this comes from one of my mom's work friends at the hospital, I could be missing something, but I found it interesting nonetheless.
