Are there any examples of nonharmful or even "good" viruses that are noteworthy?

Re: Any "Good" Viruses (Question after 4/22 class)
viruses help to develop and shape our immune system. the immune system has to be taught how to handle infections, so without viruses your immune system will not develop. there are tons of beneficial viruses in plants and agriculture. one of the examples i gave yesterday was latent herpesviruses that prime natural killer cells to attack cancer cells.
